Hello, My name is Marie and I’m 28 years old, 29 weeks pregnant with my second child, living with my fiance and have a 6 year old girl from a previous marriage. I’m like most other stay at home mums. I do my daily jobs, I keep the house tidy, I look after our daughter, I cook, clean and do what is expected..But I want more.
I dont pocess any qualifications higher than GCSE and have had various jobs throughout my life. I’ve been on social benefits, tried a self employed business, tried learning Web Design through a college course, started a veternary course at college and pocessed many temp jobs to cash flowing.
I’ve started many projects, had many whims, many great ideas that fade within a few days, maybe a few weeks.
I’ll also admit I have tried working from home delivering catelogues, tried get rich quick schemes (that never work) and tried filling out online surveys..always the same result..either my dreams dont work or are not feasable or i loose interest.
Oh i did try writing a book… that lasted 3 days.
I’ve even tried working from a market stall with my own business, but illness got in the way.
Always family life or health issues and/or boredom apprear. I never stick to anything..so why I ask myself?
I have no career.
What will be different this time? This new idea to write down my journey. The tale of how i hopefully bypass another whim and actually make something of myself and learn new skills and meet new people on the way.
Art and design is the only thing I always come back to at different stages of my life.
I do have a passion to make something out of my life, I just never manage it.
How can i manage my dream? Have i finally found my path?
Now my story begins..Lets see how far this whim goes…

Finally convinced my lovely fella to buy me a graphics tablet and oooo its great. It’s the Wacom Bamboo One, so just their budget one to be learning with for now. It’s taking a while to get used to mind you, but it really does lift alot of limitations. Ive just been playing around this evening [...]
